It seems like only yesterday,
When I got to know you more in this very place in such a terrific way.
But just today we are to part,
And I won’t deny the fact,
That I’ve certainly learnt so much from a friend so smart.
And if you did ask me what I’d do or give,
I’d say a memory of you would be the best thing to keep.
As a sure thing, your personality and sense of humour,
Are really virtues of glamour!
These things I’d say I like about you,
That’s why I had to write a page full.
I can really believe with no doubt, my friend,
That knowing you was just right.
